Dr Foodandfashion here and obviously tardy for the party with
Hearth in the East Village.
Why didn’t anyone say? Luckily I have a friend in the area who
Invited me to try
As we were on our way to the table
I noticed available seats at the chefs bar-perfect! I love to watch food being made almost as much as I enjoy eating it!
Lovely to meet Hearth chef Marco Canora
Who welcomed us in and helped us with recommendations for wine and food
Delicious everything-lots of tempting choices too-I had the brilliant arugula salad with fennel and white anchovies-so good! And then had the fluke with prawns which was beautifully prepared. My friend chose the veal and ricotta Meatballs!
Very much farm-to-table-everything, looked super fresh and beautiful.
As my friend is not a professional eater like me- I passed on the tasting menu-
But was envious of the people next to us who did! Next time!

This was a great night out-super busy on a Saturday night so make reservations!
And silly me! These are the same guys that own Terrior which I wrote about recently!
No wonder I liked it so much!
